Belinda Carroll is a Los Angeles–based stand-up comedian, writer, actress, singer, and activist whose bold, socially conscious humor has made her a standout voice in queer comedy.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Carroll began her comedy career in 2008 in Austin, Texas, channeling political frustration into sharp, satirical stand-up. She quickly gained recognition, performing nationwide and co-founding the Portland Queer Comedy Festival in 2017, a four-day event spotlighting LGBTQ+ comedians and allies.

Carroll’s activism is deeply woven into her work. She has organized the Portland Dyke March since 2011 and founded Q Patrol, a community safety initiative aimed at reducing hate crimes against LGBTQ+ individuals in downtown Portland. Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including the Pride-in-Action Award, Queer Hero Award, and Woman of Achievement Award presented by Oregon Governor Kate Brown.
